Mr. Charles W. "Billy" Skelton, 80, of Decatur died Tuesday, February 28, 2012, after a short illness. Mr. Skelton, a veteran of the U S Amy, proudly served his country during the Korean Conflict. He worked as an auto parts salesman prior to his retirement. He is survived by his wife, Betty Cook Skelton; daughter, Jane Skelton of Sandy Springs; brother, Wesley and Millie Skelton of Avondale Estates, and sister, Jean Goodson of Smyrna. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 3rd at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons with interment at Resthaven Garden of Memories Cemetery. In lieu of flowers those desiring may send donations in his memory to Hospice Atlanta, 1244 Park Vista Dr., N.E., Atlanta, GA 30319. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 2 from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. at A. S. Turner ands Sons Funeral Home and Crematory.
