Herman Wesley Chaffin, Sr.

Mr. Herman W. Chaffin, Sr. of 84, born 1925, was called home Friday, July 31, 2009.  He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Concetta, two sons, Joseph and Peter; one sister, Rebecca Williams; two grandchildren, Wes, and Tonya; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 5, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.   The family will receive guests Tuesday, August 4, 2009 from 7 – 9 P.M at A. S. Turner & Sons.
