Joyce Bond

Mrs. Joyce Daniel Bond of Avondale Estates died Monday, April 1, 2013. Mrs. Bond was a former resident of Elberton and Mountain City, GA. She graduated from Elberton High School in 1954. Mrs. Bond was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who was a creative seamstress, crafter and artist as well as an avid reader and genealogist. She enjoyed making lifelong friends as a park superintendent's wife at Georgia's Black Rock Mountain and Bobby Brown State Parks. Mrs. Bond was a former elder in the Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy A. Bond and parents, Olin Gibson Daniel and Annie Ruth Fulghum Daniel. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Merry and Tommy Tatum of Armuchee and Camilla and Hugh Warren of Avondale Estates; granddaughters, Catherine Grace and Claire Melinda Warren of Avondale Estates; sister, Patricia Daniel Bailey of Washington, GA and nephews, V. Scott Bond of Atlanta and Brett Bond of Charlotte, NC.
