Margaret Louise Sims Zoda, 87, of Decatur, died February 13, 2009. Born in Oxford, Georgia, Mrs. Zoda was a resident of Decatur, where she lived in the same house for over 65 years. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Atlanta, where she was active in Sunday school and other church activities. Her life was totally focused on her church, family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Zoda and is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and John Sippell of Isle of Palms, SC; grandson, John Sippell and his wife Mary of Portsmouth, RI; granddaughter, Sally Carrier and her husband Christopher of Mt. Pleasant, SC; and great granddaughter, Margeaux Sippell. The funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, February 17, in the chapel of A. S. Turner and Sons with Rev. Alec Williams and Rev. Mike Isbell officiating. The committal service will be held 2:30 p.m. at Covington City Cemetery. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to Gideons International, P. O.
