Martha Hogsed Harrison

June 27, 1944 — February 1, 2006

Mrs. Martha Hogsed Harrison born June 27, 1944, died Wednesday, February 1, 2006.  Survived by her husband of 36 years Richard Harrison of Atlanta; son, Mitcham Harrison of Decatur; and daughter, Kimberly Fobas of Dunwoody; two grandchildren, Jackson Christian Fobas and Emma Grace Fobas.  Surviving also, her mother, Emma Hogsed; sisters, Linda Guignard, Sophia Young, Mary Jane Shipman, Amelia Circosta, Margaret Shelton; and

brother, Sam Hogsed.  Her passion included family, friends, dancing, tennis and music.  She was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother, trusted friend, a true southern lady. Her memory will live in our hearts forever.  The family will receive friends and family on Friday, February 3rd from 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. at A. S. Turner & Sons.  A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 4th at Mellwood Cemetery, 5170 East Ponce de Leon Ave., Stone Mountain, Dr. Wiley Stephens officiating.  Those desiring may send contributions to the American Cancer Society, 2200 Lake Blvd., Atlanta, GA  30319.
