Olive Hudgins Cudd

December 21, 1925 — February 2, 2009

Betty H. Cudd, 83, of Decatur passed away Monday, February 2, 2009. She was a homemaker and a beautician and a very active member of Avondale Estates First Baptist Church , helping in the food pantry, The Golden Age Club, Saints Alive Choir and WOW. She was preceded in death by a loving and devoted husband, Charles B. Cudd, Jr.; her mother and father, Lee Allen and Velma Lee Hudgins; brother-in-law, Clarence L. Robinson, all of Decatur.  She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Theresa C.  and Timothy J. Moore of Buckhead; son and daughter-in-law, Charles Allen and Cathy C. Cudd of Gainesville; sister, Carolyn H. Robinson of Decatur; 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and 3 nephews and their families.  Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 5th at 2 p.m. at Avondale Estates First Baptist Church. Burial will be in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the ONSTAR Fund of Avondale Estates First Baptist Church, 37 Covington Rd., Avondale Estates, 30002.  The family will receive friends from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, February 4th at A. S. Turner & Sons.
