William Leonard Duello

William Leonard Duello, known to his family and friends as “Bill”, passed away on December 25, 2020 after battling ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease) for three years.
A native of Decatur, Georgia, Bill attended Georgia Institute of Technology, graduating with a degree in Industrial Engineering.
In 1973 he joined his father and two of his brothers at Builder’s Steel Supply, Incorporated where he rose to President and retired after 38 years. Bill enjoyed traveling, gardening and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Margaret, son Paul and daughter Kate Roca (Christopher), grandsons Benjamin, Jackson and Alexander. Brothers Richard (Deborah), Thomas (Jane), Len (Jan), sister Trudy Turner (Roger) and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service for Bill will be held at Saint Thomas More Catholic Church, 636 West Ponce de Leon Avenue, Decatur, Ga on December 31st at 10:00am.
