Ada Cordelia Yeaple-Brown

July 20, 1924 — August 18, 2020

Ada Yeaple-Brown, age 96 of Avondale Estates, passed away August 18, 2020. Ada was the daughter of Earl Dawson Caldwell, Sr. and Lucille Hayden Mayes Caldwell. Ada grew up in Marietta, Georgia with her five siblings. After attending Stetson University, she married Jack Palmer Yeaple, Sr. in 1943. Together they raised their two children in Avondale Estates, GA. Her husband passed away in 1984 and years later Ada was blessed to find love once again and married Joe Brown. Joe passed in 2003. Ada is also preceded in death by her parents, her five siblings and her daughter, Suzanne Starr Yeaple. She is survived by her son, Jack P. Yeaple, II, of North Pole, AK; grandson, Jack P. "Trey" Yeaple, III and wife, Shelby of Frisco, TX; great-grandchildren, Emma Wilson and husband, Ben, of Marshall, TX and Grace Yeaple of Frisco, TX. Ada was a devoted wife and mother, a pillar and voice in her community and neighborhood, an advocate for Cerebral Palsy research at Emory University, a longtime member of Avondale Estates First Baptist Church, and a friend to many. A private graveside service will be held at Floral Hills Memory Gardens with Rev. J. Eddie Coon officiating.
