Agnes P. Eads

February 9, 1932 — April 30, 2017

Major Agnes P. Eads, passed away on April 30, 2017 surrounded by her family at the age of 85. She was born in Tuscaloosa, AL, to the late Alex and Vistula Webster Poole and resided in Orange Park, FL. Major Eads was an Officer in The Salvation Army.

In addition to her parents, Agnes was preceded in death by her husband, Morris; son, Kenneth; brothers: James and Bob Poole; and sister, Ella Thatcher.

She is survived by: son David Eads and his wife, JuLee; daughter-in-law, Margie Covert; five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Thursday, May 4, 2017, at The Salvation Army, Clay County Corps, 2795 County Road 220, Middleburg, FL, with visitation held 1 hour prior to service from 10-11 AM.

A graveside service will be 1 PM Monday, May 8, 2017, at Westview Cemetery, Atlanta, GA.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her honor to The Salvation Army, Jacksonville Citadel Corps, Senior Center, 15 E Church Street, Jacksonville, FL, 32202.
