Alan Douglas Hugueley passed away on February 9, 2024, surrounded by loved ones. Alan is survived by his wife Connie Jean.
Alan was born on August 29, 1952, in Lebanon, Tennessee, the son of the late Charles William and Hazel Hoppe Hugueley.
Alan is survived by a loving daughter and son Heather and her husband Turner Skipper; Beau, his wife Courtney Hugueley, and by his brother Robert (Bobby) and his wife Barbara. He had four grandchildren Cece Skipper, Henry Skipper, Charlie Hugueley, and Kenlee Hugueley. He also had many beloved nieces, nephews, and friends.
Alan was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and served during the Vietnam War.
Alan loved working for the past 30 years at Kings Bay Naval Submarine Base. He was devoted to the Plumbing Shop as Lead. Through the years he led the Plumbing Shop to successfully completing many projects earning the trust of the Navy.
Alan's viewing will be at the First Baptist Church of Kingsland, 295 East Chester Street; Kingsland, Georgia, from 1:00 until 2:30 with service to follow on Saturday, February 17th. Interment will be on Monday, February 19th at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens in Snellville, Georgia at 11:00 a.m.
The family invites all of those who loved Alan to join them in celebrating his exuberant life.
A special thank you to Jacobs at Kings Bay who believed in him. There were many who helped Alan without fail and for those people the family will never forget the many kindnesses. For all that Fire Chief Terry Smith, Camden County Fire Rescue Life Squad 11, and Firehouse 18 did in helping Alan the family will forever be grateful.

Riley Porter, who is nine years old, is one of Alan's nieces in Virginia who had a heart transplant at 4 years old. Donations will help with current and future medical needs.
