Albert Carnett Bryant, 51, of Atlanta passed away February 28, 2011. He was born on October 13, 1959 in Coral Gables, FL. He was preceded in death by his father; Dr. James Bryant. Surviving are his daughter, Jordan Lindsey Bryant; mother, Marion Carnett Bryant and brother, David Mixon Bryant. Also surviving are several aunts, uncles and cousins in Georgia and Florida. He graduated in 1978 from Lakeside High School in Decatur, DeKalb Co., GA and was a 1981 graduate of Mercer University in Macon, GA . He was a flight attendant with Continental Air Lines for 2 years and was employed as an Audio Tech Engineer for GA World Congress Center by the state of Georgia for 24 years. As an accomplished guitar player he played in a band named Cypress with one of his closest high school friends, Ed Swinson. He enjoyed ball room dancing and was a member of Second Ponce de Leon Baptist Church. A service to celebrate his life will be held Saturday, March 19, 2011 at 4 p.m. at Second Ponce de Leon Baptist Church with Dr. David Sapp officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Second Ponce de Leon Baptist Church. A. S. Turner and Sons.
