Albert Friesen

Albert Friesen, 86, of Decatur, died October 17, 2012. A native of Meade, Kansas, Mr. Friesen was retired from the Salvation Army Temple in Atlanta, where he had a lengthy and satisfying career as the maintenance engineer. He was a longstanding and active member of First Baptist Church of Atlanta. He is survived by his sister, Agnes Isaac of Reedly CA; nieces, Carol Bayliss and her husband, Stephen, of Santa Monica CA, and Nancy Becker and her husband, Dennis, of Clovis CA; nephew, Rich Friesen and his wife, Pam, of Franklin TN; several other nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held 11 AM, Tuesday, October 23, in the chapel of First Baptist Church of Atlanta. Dr. Scott Downing and Rev Dennis Becker will officiate with burial following at North Atlanta Memorial Park. The family will receive friends beginning one hour prior to the service at the church.
