Alice Jean Weed, age 91, of Avondale Estates died Monday, November 28, 2011. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Decatur. Mrs. Weed was preceded in death by her husband, Ivey Crawford Weed, grandson, Ford Johnson, sister, Mary Christmas and brothers, Max and Rex Morris. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Jean and Jerry Anderson and Debbi Weed-Johnson and Herman Johnson; grandchildren, Rick and Kim Anderson, Jennifer Anderson and Cameron Johnson; great grandchildren, Ellie and Ryan Anderson; and many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 2 PM Saturday, December 3, 2011, at Friendship Memorial Gardens in Donalsonville, GA with Rev. Kurt Varney officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Friday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
