Alice Virginia Allgood Clark was born on September 22, 1918 and died on Tuesday, February 16, 2010. She was 91. A graduate of Rinehart College, she taught elementary school in Hart County, GA, she managed the Cafeteria at Scottsdale Mills, and worked with the Atlanta Police Department. Mrs. Clark married Thomas Laland Clark Sr. in 1939. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents, Conrad L. Allgood, Sr., Lucy Faulkner Allgood; stepmother, Mary Jane Farmer Allgood; father and mother-in-law, Andy Frank and Kate Holbrook Clark; daughter, Carolyn Clark Nash; sisters, Lucy Allgood and J. D. Flowers, Zoa and Bennie Johnson, Mary Ruth Allgood and Frank Roberts; brothers, Conrad L. Allgood, Jr., James Edward Allgood; brother and sister-in-law, John Leonard Clark and Troyce Adams Clark; brothers-in-law, Charles Denton and Ray Campbell. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Thomas L. Clark, Jr. and Mary Nell Clark; granddaughters, Anita Regina Nash Lipsey (Michael); great-granddaughters, Victoria and Rebekah Lipsey; sisters, Allene Allgood Denton, Marjorie Allgood Campbell; sister-in-law, Mary Simpson Allgood, Alice M. Allgood and a multitude of nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. Funeral Services will be held in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons on Friday, February 19th at 10AM with interment to follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Friends are invited to visit with the family Thursday evening from 6 – 8PM at A. S. Turner & Sons.
