Alida "Nena" Duarte Morales

Mrs. Alida "Nena" Duarte Morales, born in Havana, Cuba, September 28, 1923 entered Heaven on January 23 to be with her Lord. She joins her three sisters, Gloria Duarte Valera (Ernesto, M.D.), Omaira Duarte Arango (Virgilio, M.D.), a baby sister, Carmita Duarte and her four brothers, Antonio Duarte, Julio, PhD (Vivian) Duarte, Eugenio Duarte, and Carlos Duarte, M.D. Nena is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Mr. Hugo A. Morales of Tucker, GA, 20 nephews and nieces, and many wonderful neighbors and friends from the Cuban Club of Atlanta. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 26, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church on Briarcliff RD, Atlanta. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul or to the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. A. S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home and Crematory.
