Allen N. H. Holley

Mr. Allen N. H. Holley of Stone Mountain died Tuesday, December 23, 2008. He was a World War II veteran and served in the 3rd Army, 94TH Infantry Division, 376TH   Regiment, Company D. Mr. Holley was a retired DeKalb County Deputy Sheriff. He is survived by his son, Allen (Stella) Holley of Baytown, TX; daughters, Elaine (Ed) Hathaway of Monroe, Vickie Born of Lawrenceville and Ginny (Tom) Harder of Hendersonville, NC; brother, Benjamin P. Holley, Jr. of Winder; sisters, Marie Hicks and Beatrice Arnold of Scottdale; 8 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 27th. Burial will follow in Melwood Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at A. S. Turner & Sons
