Allene M. "Polly" Roseberry

Mrs. Allene Martin "Polly" Roseberry, wife of the late Marlin E. Roseberry passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2008.  She was 87 years old and a long time member of Ingleside Presbyterian Church.  Mrs. Roseberry taught Sunday school and other classes for 50 years and moved her membership to Rehoboth Presbyterian Church when Ingleside moved to Lawrenceville.  Mrs. Roseberry was an active member of the National Association of Letter Carriers Auxiliary.  She is survived by her sisters, Mrs. Evelyn Fortner, Scottdale and Mrs. Betty Sherrod, Sanford, NC; brothers, Mr. Bobby Martin, Stockbridge and Mr. Harry Martin, Stone Mountain; grandchildren, Andy, Allyson, Laurie, Lane, Roshan, Nisha, Jessica, Austin, Rebecca, Jonathan, Ilyssa and Chloe; great grandchildren, Garrett, Grayson, Michael, Hayley, Karsten and Drew; and many nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; and great-great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, January 4th at Rehoboth Presbyterian Church with Rev. Joel Tolbert officiating. Mrs. Roseberry will lie in state beginning at 10:30 A.M. at the church.  Interment, Melwood Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. and from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
