Mrs. Allene Metzger Ross, age 69, of Decatur died Tuesday, February 17, 2009. She was a registered nurse for over 40 years. Mrs. Ross is survived by her husband, Gary Ross; sons, Jeff Ross of South Carolina, Jim Ross of Atlanta; daughter, Bonnie Ross Hensley of Salt Lake City, Utah; grandsons, Daniel Ross, Cody Ross; and sister, Nancy Carter. A funeral mass will be held Saturday, February 21st at 12 Noon at St. Thomas More Catholic Church with Monsignor Paul Fogarty officiating. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. to 11 Noon Saturday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
