Alma Joann Bolton

Alma Joann Bolton from Lanett, AL passed away on Monday, November 15th. Joann was born and raised in the Mill Village in Scottdale, Ga. She was the 7th child born to John and Naomi Hardy. Joann is preceded in death by her husband, Mack Bolton, her parents, her brothers Ralph Hardy, Roy Hardy, Lonnie Hardy, Jimmy Hardy and sister Margaret Mobley. She is survived by her sister Joyce Moseley, daughter Suzanne Jones (Bobby), son Johnny Bolton (Lori), and grandchildren Kelly Jones, Trent Jones, Anna Bolton and Jenna Bolton.

Joann was a godly woman that served her Lord for many years. She was a stay at home mom and gladly raised her two children with much love and devotion. She was always willing to serve others and was very generous when it came to meeting the needs of others. She loved her family and always treasured time together with them. Joann along with her husband were members at the First Baptist Church in Lanett Al. After her husbands death, she developed Alzheimer's and spent the last 5 years living with her children so they could care for her. We will forever have many fond memories of our time together.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, November 23 at the A. S. Turner and Son's Chapel. Visitation will be from 12 noon to 2 pm and service at 2 pm followed by a graveside service. Should you choose, the family would love to have donations made to the Alzheimer's Foundation in Joann's name.
