Alvaline V. Bowles (Arnold), 85, of Bremen, Georgia passed away peacefully on May 14, 2020. Alvaline (Abby) was born July 11, 1934 in Lithonia, Georgia.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Inman & Grace Clark, Decatur, Georgia. Also, her brother Buddy Clark of Washington, D.C. and daughter Deloris (Sissy) Schubert. Alvaline is survived by her daughter Linda Golden and her husband Charles Golden, Bremen, Ga. Son Wayne Arnold and his wife Sherry Arnold, Conyers, Ga. Son Barry Arnold, daughter Roxanne Smith, and her husband Barry Smith, Loganville, Ga.
She had 12 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
Abby was the oldest of 6. She loved being with her sisters, and brothers as they often took trips and spent countless special dinners to celebrate as many occasions as possible.
Abby is survived by sisters, Millie Skelton, brother in law Wesley Skelton, of Lawrenceville, Ga. Rachel Ferguson, and the late Grover J Ferguson of Loganville, Ga. Kathi Lee and William (Rusty) Lee of Winder, Ga. and Philip Clark of Lawrenceville, Ga.
Alvaline was a resident of Scottdale, Ga, but moved to be with her daughter in Bremen in the last 3 years.
She enjoyed shopping and a fun adventure to the flea market. Abby was loved for her outspoken nature and her honesty always kept her family and friends laughing.
Visitation will be held Sunday 2-5, AS Turner & Sons.
Private Graveside Service to be announced at a later date.
