Andrew “Ford” Johnson, 22, of Avondale Estates passed away November 6, 2008. Ford, a native Atlantan was a student at the International Culinary School of the Art Institute of Atlanta. He was an outgoing young man, having friends all over the region that will always cherish his memory. Ford was the beloved son of Herman Johnson and Debbi Weed-Johnson; brother, Cameron Johnson; maternal grandmother, Jean Weed; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. D. R. Whitfield; many aunts, uncles and cousins; his K9 companion, Gus, and feline friend, Xena. A celebration of Ford’s life will take place Monday, November 10th at 11:00 A.M. at the First Baptist Church of Decatur. Interment Floral Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Decatur First Baptist Youth Group or the Humane Society of your choice. Friends are invited to visit with the family and share warm memories of Ford on Sunday, November 9th from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at A. S. Turner & Sons.
