Angelo Michael Pitillo

March 24, 1937 — November 22, 2007

Mr. Angelo Michael Pitillo of Atlanta died Thursday, November 22, 2007.  He served his country in the Georgia Air National Guard.  Mr. Pitillo was former President of the Black Eyed Pea in Dallas, and was affiliated with Watermark Restaurant Corporation, Marcos Mexican Restaurant, Original Pasta Company and Billy Blue Barbeque, all in Houston, TX.  He was the current owner and operator of Café Lily (named after his only granddaughter) in Decatur for 8 years. Mr. Pitillo is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Spence Pitillo of Atlanta; son, Anthony Umberto Pitillo of Decatur, Angelo Michael Pitillo, II of New York, NY; daughter, Gioiella (Gia) Davis and her husband Robert of Portland, OR; two grandchildren, Lillian Grace Davis and Levi Marshall Davis; aunt, Frances D'Alessandro of Lackawanna, NY; and a close family friend, Miguel Velasco.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, 2141 Rosecrans Ave., Suite 7000, El Sequndo, CA  90245 or to Hospice Atlanta, 1244 Park Vista Dr., Atlanta, GA 30319.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.  A.
