Angelo S. Moraitakis

Mr. Angelo S. Moraitakis, age 83 of Marietta, died Wednesday, August 17, 2011. He honorably served in the US Army during the Korean War and was retired from the US Postal Service. Mr. Moraitakis was preceded in death by his son, Steve Moraitakis. Survivors include his beloved wife of 54 years, Linda Moraitakis; his daughter, Jane Lamas; grandsons, Alexander and Stefanos Lamas; sisters, Cally Liollio and Anna Cheokas; and brother, Michael Moraitakis. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 20th at 1:00 pm at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Annunciation, Atlanta. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Anunciation, 2500 Clairmont Road, Atlanta, GA 30329. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 to 8 pm, with a prayer service at 7 pm at A.S. Turner & Sons, Decatur.
