Ann G. Rhoden

Ann Garrett Rhoden, 76 of Decatur passed away on Tuesday April 17, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dwane L. Rhoden, a Research Microbiologist with The Centers for Disease Control.

A native of Atlanta, she worked as an art and substitute teacher with the DeKalb Co. School System and was formerly employed with the IRS as an auditor. Ann retired as an auditor with the Decatur/DeKalb County Housing Authority.

She is survived by her daughter and her husband, Laurie and Joseph Walton and her grandsons, Ryan and Zac Walton.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday April 21st in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons with Rev. Kelly Beckley officiating. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
