Ann Linder Cooley, aged 68, of Decatur, GA, peacefully passed away on August 19, 2023. Born on August 5, 1955, in Spartanburg, South Carolina, she was the beloved child of the late Mr. & Mrs. Frank Ray Sr. and Marjorie Linder Cooley.
She leaves behind her cherished brother, Frank Ray Cooley Jr., of Decatur, GA. Ann's devoted companion, Molly Rose, her beloved canine rescue from Paws Atlanta, also survives her.
After earning her degree from Georgia State University, Ann embarked on a fulfilling career journey. She dedicated years of service to Cooley's Drywall and various other companies before culminating her accounting career as a dedicated Corporate Account Manager at Construction Resources, INC. in Decatur, Georgia. Her retirement in 2019 marked the end of a successful professional journey.
Ann was renowned for her kind-hearted nature, consistently prioritizing the needs of others over her own. Her philanthropic spirit shone through her donations to charitable organizations aiding those in need. Her unwavering support was always extended to family and friends, never hesitating to be there when they needed her. Passionate about animals, Ann's generosity extended to organizations devoted to helping homeless animals and providing training to animals meant to be companions to those in need.
A private service to celebrate Ann's life was held at AS Turner and Sons Funeral Home and Crematory.
