Ann McCartney Weathers of Atlanta, GA passed away on October 22, 2019 at the age of 80. Robert and
Ann settled in Atlanta after Robert graduated from Georgia Tech. Always a loving and supportive wife,
mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend who will be greatly missed. She enjoyed her children
and grandchildren’s activities, always there to cheer them on! She loved traveling, entertaining,
decorating, gardening, attending cultural events, participating in her Church and charities close to her
heart. She was a Georgia Tech fan to the end, who loved Game Day Saturdays! And she was the best
cook that taught her children well! She retired after 38 years working for Emory University Hospital’s
Department of Anesthesiology. As her life changed, Ann adapted to any situation with Grace and
Enthusiasm, always with a Positive attitude. Through all this, many life lessons were learned by us
all...Thank you Mom!
