Ann Romines Taylor, Atlanta native, born March 24 1933, died at home from complications of breast cancer on September 30. 2004 surrounded by all of her children and her husband. She had fought the good fight. Ann graduated from Henry Grady High School in 1951. She attended UGA at Athens and GSU in Atlanta. In 1954 she married Frank E. Taylor, also an Atlanta native. Ann's business career included employment with Royal Globe Insurance Co., Weight Watchers of Atlanta, and The Pillsbury Company. However, her greatest lifework was as a homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother and as a dedicated friend to many others. Predeceased by her parents, Thomasine Vickers Romines and Charles C. Romines, Sr. In addition to her husband of fifty years, Ann is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Lynda and Dennis Barnes and Julie and Allan Dodson; and by her sons, Gary Taylor and Danny Taylor; and by her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Vicki Taylor. She is also survived by four granddaughters and one grandson and by her brother, Charles C. Romines, Jr. Arrangements by A. S. Turner & Sons. Funeral services will be held Monday, October 4th at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons. Burial immediately following at Westview. Family visitation will be Sunday, 4 to 6 p.m. A prayer or a daisy or a donation to your favorite charity would all be welcome.
