Ann Terry Rice

Ann Terry Rice age 92 of Atlanta passed away January 30, 2019. Ann was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be greatly missed. Ann attended Decatur Girls High School and played saxophone in the Girls High School Band. Ann worked as a church secretary for many years at Oakhurst Presbyterian Church and North Avenue Presbyterian Church. She was also a member of the Circle and Presbyterian Women, serving as President. Mrs. Rice was preceded in death by her first husband, Elbert Terry. She is survived by her husband, George L. Rice of Atlanta; daughter and son in law, Patricia Terry Scott and Donald Scott of Loganville, daughters, Alice Terry Edge of Conyers and Bonnie Terry Luker of Snellville; grandsons, Douglas Scott and Nathan Luker; granddaughters, Heather Call and Sonya Walker; great grandsons, Brandon Call, Jayson Walker, Hunter Call and Sterling Luker; great granddaughters, Bailey Scott, Haleigh Call, Campbell Walker and Sophia Luker. A funeral service for Mrs. Rice will be held Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 11:00 AM at North Avenue Presbyterian Church with The Honorable Rev. Frank Eldridge officiating. A private interment will take place at a later date. The family will receive friends Friday, February 1, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
