Ann W. Mccauley

Ann W. McCauley, 96 of Atlanta, GA, went home with the Lord on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at Kingsbridge Retirement Center, where she has resided for 26 years. She was born Ann Ward on April 20, 1918 to the late Wallace and Mae Ward. She grew up in Columbus, GA (Meriwether County). She married Lawrence McCauley in 1937, and soon moved to the South Georgia area where she lived for 28 years. She also resided in the Atlanta, GA area for 49 years. She is survived by four children, Lawrence McCauley of Signal Mountain, TN, James McCauley of Pensacola, FL, Harry McCauley of Snellville, GA and Mary Ann Grube (husband, William) of Lawrencevilla; two grandchildren, Kevin Grube (wife, Krystal) and Christopher Grube; two nieces, Dianne Bonham (husband, John) and Sheila Ward. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence McCauley, Sr. and her son, Michael McCauley. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of A. S. Turner and Sons at 2:00 pm on Thursday, November 6, 2014. Interment, Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends this evening (Wednesday) from 6 to 8 PM at A. S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home and Crematory.
