Anne Hosie Golden

Anne Hosie Golden, 76, recently of Alpharetta, Georgia and formerly of Belmont, Massachusetts and Eugene, Oregon, died on March 6, 2011. Mrs. Golden, daughter of the late James and Katherine Hosie, was predeceased in death by her sister Sally O'Neal. Mrs. Golden grew up in Scranton, Pennsylvania, before moving to Belmont, Massachusetts where she lived until marrying Patrick Golden in 1956. She graduated from Boston College, Summa Cum Laude with a teaching degree. Mrs. Golden embraced life with a rare vitality. Her greatest gift was her unending patience and deep compassion for all children, especially those in despair. She was a wonderful mentor and protector to those in need, many of whom were complete strangers. Her spark will remain with those whose lives she touched. Mrs. Golden is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and Jim Schwartz, Julie and Scott Tocci, Margaret Golden and Gary Cooke. She is additionally survived by three sons and a daughter-in-law, Patrick Golden, Jr., James Golden, and Chris and Stacy Golden. She is also survived by her brother, James Hosie, S.J., Joe Hosie, and Katherine Sullivan as well as 11 grandchildren. A funeral mass will be celebrated Thursday, March 10th at half past nine o�clock at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Father James Hosie Celebrant. Friends are invited to visit with the family Wednesday evening from six until eight o�clock with prayers being recited at half past seven at A. S.
