Anne Kelly Granger

Mrs. Anne K. Granger of Tucker died Wednesday March 19, 2014. Born in Osaka, Virginia to Grady Vance and Nancy McChesney Kelly, Anne graduated from Marietta High School and Draughn's Business School. During World War II, she volunteered as a nurse's aid at Grady Hospital. Anne worked for Southern Railway where she met her husband of 50 years, John Russell Granger. After raising two sons, John Russell Jr. and James William, Anne returned to work at the Coca-Cola Company where she retired after 15 years. Anne was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Tucker. She enjoyed her many friends at the United Methodist Women's Ambassador Circle. Anne was always involved in community activities including the Garden Club.
