Anneliese Martin

Anneliese Huebner Martin died on October 4,2015, at Atria Senior Living in Tucker, GA. She was 94 years and five months old. A memorial service will be held at 11 am on October 24, 2015 at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 2110 Brockett Road, Tucker, GA. A reception will be held in the church hall immediately after the service. Interment of ashes will occur at 3 pm at Oak Hill Cemetery in Newnan, GA. Anneliese was born in 1921, in Stettin, Germany, which is now Szceczin, Poland. She married Cmd. Sgt. Maj. Curtis E. Martin, of Newnan, GA, in 1948, until his death in 1965; she never remarried. Her immediate survivors are her daughter Marianne of Atlanta; her niece Annelie Fehlauer; and nephew Karl Hans Huebner, both of Germany. Also surviving are many Martin family cousins in Georgia, Huebner relatives in Germany, and friends in Georgia, Massachusetts, and Germany.
