Annie C. Lee

May 26, 1919 — November 12, 2016

Mrs. Annie (Anna) Cole Lee (widow of Mr. Floyd Lee) of Stone Mountain, GA went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 12, 2016. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Ann and Herman Thompson of Lawrenceville, grandchildren: Tommy and Amy Thompson of Lawrenceville and Joseph and Shelby Thompson of Stone Mountain. Survivors also include her sister Mrs. Minnie Baughcum of Ellijay, sister-in-law Mrs. Dorothy Lee of Tucker, and brother-in-law Mr. Bill Lee of Athens. Proceeded in death by her parents Marshall and Lena Cole, sister and brother-in-law Flo and Jay Davis, and brother-in-law Donald Baughcum.
Mrs. Lee was born in Scottdale, GA on May 26, 1919. She attended Scottdale Elementary and Avondale High School. At age 13 she accepted Christ as her Savior and joined Scottdale Baptist Church and later united with Corinth Baptist Church in Scottdale. Various activities of her church life included establishing Baptist Training Unions, teaching Sunday School, and visiting the sick. "Sis. Lee" to her church family, "Nana" to her grandchildren, and "Aunt Anna" to her many beloved nieces and nephews ---she shared her love of Christ with all.
The family wishes to thank their friends and family for the prayers and support that you have shown during the past 3 years. A special thank you to Carly's Angels and Ms. Fanny Sylva for the love and devotion she showed while caring for Sis. Lee.
