Annie Phinnessee-Jeter

Annie Deloys Phinnessee was born January 23, 1948 in Grand Junction, Tn to the late Lott Phinnessee and Lucille Glass. Annie Departed this life the early morning of March 21, 2025 .

She attended public schools in Grand Jct., TN....Rosary Chapel Catholic school in Paducah, KY ...Pasadena, CA and graduated in Detroit, MI. She was raised as a Catholic Faith Believer while in Kentucky. She moved to Atlanta and attended St Thomas More Catholic Church, Decatur,GA. Baptized April 7 2012. She Married Garland Jeter while in Detroit and remained his wife until his passing.

Annie was a hard worker and fun loving Individual who always was a socializing person. She Always if not Instantly made friends. Her Heart was Always Loving, Caring and Genuine.

After Moving to Memphis, Tn in the early 80's, She worked at a nursing home as an Activity Coordinator for a number of years until moving to Atlanta in Oct 1987. She was employed by The Dekalb Worlds Farmers Market for a number of years. Then Steinmart and finally Kroger before her retiring in 2011.

Annie started going through numerous health issues after he moms passing in December 2010. Over the past 15yrs she was limited to being as vibrant as she use to be but did not let it deter her from still mingling and making friends. Despite all she had heavy weighing on her plate she kept smiling, and enjoyed other people company swapping stories and being Interested in other peoples well being. Two of her favorite words were "BabyLove" and "Love You".

She leaves behind her (Adopted Cousin) Sherita Randoph, Atlanta, GA. Two brothers Morris James(Susan) Phinnessee, Woodville TX, Thomas(Terri) Phinnessee. Sebastopol, CA . One Aunt Rosetta Spencer, Flint MI, First Cousin Horace Prewitt, Decatur, GA. Step Sister Melvyn Moore, Anahein, CA. Close Friends Pat Woods, Terry Richardson, Marsha Hart, Claudette Craig, Felicia Thomas, Earnest Stafford, Maggie Ericson, Maureen O'Toole, Richard Joseph, Wes/Barbara Freeman, Sid Frye, Lois Tolbert. The Dekalb Farmers Market Family-Robert/Barbara/Daniel Blazer and Family(Frank , Joanne, Kiros, Anita, 100s of Market Workers) Numerous Neices/Nephews/Cousins and Friends in the neighborhood and around the country.
