Anthony Burdette

Anthony Burdette, age 44 died unexpectedly on Wednesday night, September 28, 2005 at Emory University Hospital. Mr. Burdette was a resident of Decatur, Georgia and had lived in metro Atlanta for the past 25 years. He was born in Greenville County, South Carolina and grew up in Fountain Inn, South Carolina. Mr. Burdette was a 1979 graduate of Hillcrest High School, Simpsonville, South Carolina and a 1999 graduate of Oglethorpe University, Atlanta, Georgia. Mr. Burdette is survived by his partner of 23 years, Joey Carpenter, Decatur, Georgia. He is also survived by his mother, Rosa Burdette, Fountain Inn, South Carolina; a sister, Teresa Burdette-Kundolf, Greenville, South Carolina; two nieces, Brittany and Blake F1annery; and a nephew, Carson Kundolf of Greenville, South Carolina. A memorial service will be held on Sunday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. at the A.S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home Chapel at 2773 North Decatur Road, Decatur, Georgia. The family of Mr. Burdette will be receiving friends on Saturday evening, October 1, 2005 from 6 to 8 p.m. at A.S. Turner and Sons.
