Antonio Chichester was born on November 10, 1941 and was the son of Littleton Noel and Monica Chichester Pascal. He was born in el Caserio "Da Manga" in the municipality of Monagas state in Venezuela. He was the eldest sibling to Roberto Ritcher, Jorge Pascal, Elena Pascal, Gina Pascal, and Jose Pascal.
Antonio's early life was served in the military in Venezuela and was, often, given the executive task to chauffeur the country's president. While there, he garnered the skills necessary for a good work ethic, order, and respect. He then went on to work at the Guri Dam in Venezuela when construction began in 1963. At this young age, he fathered Monica Chichester who sadly succumbed to appendicitis in her adolescence. After this loss, he moved onto el Tigre, Venezuela looking for new opportunities and it was there he met Jacqueline Pierre. Antonio and Jackie became parents to two children Michelle Chichester-Poole and Antonio Chichester. The family decided to move to Trinidad and Tobago, W.I. for a better life. Antonio began schooling there at the Progressive School to acquire additional skills for his career. He and Jackie decided to part ways and it was then he chose to make a drastic change in his life to move to the U.S.
In 1969, Antonio's uncle sent for him to live in New York. Although he was new to the country, his previous military driving experience and integrity allowed him to gain employment as a truck driver. He worked with that trucking company in the garment industry for the New Jersey Secaucus Mall for several years. In 1978, Antonio met Victoria Geoffroy and they married on March 12, 1980. Together, they had one child, Isa Chichester Everett. By 1985, Antonio went onto work with the New York Transit Authority mainly in the rail system. Better opportunities for the family led them to Stone Mountain, GA in the early 90's.
Once in Georgia, Antonio went back to his original profession of driving, working for the JB Hunt trucking company, moving freight nationally for the company. In order to stay closer to home, he began operating the bus for AirServ and retired with them in late 2014.
Although, Antonio was well known as a self-proclaimed "workaholic," he always made time for family and friends. He spent much of his time with the Trinidad and Tobago Association in Atlanta, GA where he helped arrange the yearly Atlanta Caribbean Carnival, along with many other parties, get togethers, and meetings. It was under his more casual persona, known as Franklin, that he was an entertainer, the life of the party, and the center of attention. Franklin, or Frankie, always had a joke to tell or a story to share. He was oftentimes called the mayor, because once he arrived, everything truly began. He loved to make those around him comfortable and all who knew him, truly felt his generosity.
Antonio Chichester passed away on November 10th, 2015 on his 74th birthday. He left behind his mother, Monica Pascal, along with his wife of 35 years, Victoria Chichester; his children: Michelle Chichester-Poole, Antonio Chichester, and Isa Chichester Everett; his grandchildren: Ashley Chichester, Michael Chichester, Tyrone Poole Jr., Tyzohn Poole, Tychelle Poole, Jalen Everett, and David "DJ" Everett Jr.; his siblings: Roberto Ritcher, Jorge Pascal, Elena Pascal Tatis, Gina Pascal Spallina, and Jose Pascal; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and other loved ones.
