Arthur B. Haven Jr.

Arthur B. Haven, Jr. passed on November 19, 2016 surrounded by his family at home. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Rose and devoted sons, John and Paul Haven; sister Judy Beer and nephew Doug Beer; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Anne & Warren Blanchard; grandchildren Tyler, Zachary, Jarod and Malynn Haven.

Art was born in Evanston, IL on June 23, 1941. He grew up in Decatur, GA and Toronto, Canada. He graduated from the University of Miami, Coral Gables, Florida with a degree in Business. During his career as a computer programmer he was employed by National & Delta Airlines, and Days Inns of America and Holiday Inn National headquarters in Atlanta.

Art was an avid Bridge & Duplicate Bridge player, accomplishing 250+ points towards the 300 Masters Points for Duplicate competitors. He also loved nature and one of his favorite places was the Atlanta Botanical Gardens.

He was devoted to his family, church, and friends. He will be dearly missed by all who knew his kindness, and will be cherished in our hearts forever.
