Arthur Merritt Kirchoffer, Sr.

Arthur Merritt Kirchoffer, Sr. died Thursday, March 22, 2012. He graduated from Florida State University, retired after 28 years of service from BellSouth and served in the US Air Force during the Korean War. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Kirchoffer; children, Arthur Merritt (Joy) Kirchoffer, Jr., Lee Kirchoffer, Eric Kirchoffer and Will (Pam) Kirchoffer; step-sons, Richard (Cea) Alford and David Alford; Sister, Rita Lattimer; brother, Gene Kirchoffer; and 9 grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 3:30 PM Saturday, March 24, 2012, at the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons with Dr. Bill Bigger officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to the Anne and Glen Waldrop Scholarship Fund, 3039 Briarcliff Road, Atlanta, GA, 30329, 404-633-6103 or Hospice Atlanta, 1244 Park Vista Drive NE, Atlanta, GA 30319.
