Bernard Haight, a native of Atlanta, died February 20, 2014. He graduated from Grady High School and Emory School of Business, where he was a member Chi Phi Fraternity. He served two years in the Marine Corp Reserves during the Korean War. He was President of A.B. Haight Insurance and Properties, a member and past president of Buckhead Kiwanis, Post Commander of American Legion 140, member and past president of the Buckhead Fifty and the Old Guard as well as a 40 year life member of Capital City Club. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Irene Lake and children, Robert A. Haight of Cleveland, GA, Susan Howard of Dunwoody, GA, and Stacy McCulley (Scott) of Dunwoody, GA. Grandchildren Stephanie, Savannah and Sierra Howard of Louisville, KY, Tucker and Ashley McCulley, and Tasha Woznick. A lifelong Episcopalian, he served as a lay reader for 30 years at St. Philips Episcopal Church. Memorial Service will be held at 10 am Wednesday, February 26th at St. Philips Episcopal Church in Atlanta. Contributions can be made to St. Philips Episcopal Church. A. S.
