Celebration of Astrid's incomparable life will be at the family home at 3:00 pm, Saturday, July 21st. She is survived by her husband of 56 years Richard; her sons, Keith and Neil; her daughter-in-law, Cynthia and grandsons, Kyle and Jake. Astrid was the completely not-traditional matriarch/circus-master of her extended family and friends; always a strong gravitational pull bringing as many different people as she could pull together. She was giving, joyful, naughty, silly and inappropriate and we all loved her for it. She was happiest when surrounded by a community of family and friends, laughing and sharing time with each other. It is so often said, but surely true in Astrid's case, that no one was more loved and appreciated, no one caused so much happiness; no one was more memorable and no one will be more missed.
