AUBREY THOMAS SHARP
Aubrey Thomas Sharp, age 90, of Decatur, Georgia went to be with the Lord on December 15, 2012. Tom was born in Waco, Texas on November 27, 1922. He joined the USN in 1938 and served in Saipan and Guam during WWII. He returned to the U.S. after the war and moved to Georgia where he met the love of his life, Lillian Fuller Sharp, who preceded him in death. They lived all of their married lives in Decatur, Georgia. Tom was many, many things in his life. He was a salesman, a veteran, a craftsman, a pilot, a cook, a singer, a dancer and a story teller. He was a perfectionist, had a wicked sense of humor and a will of iron. All these things together made up the person we all called "Daddadee". We will miss him always. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Garry and Claire Sharp, daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and Ken Wiley, grandson and granddaughter -in-law, Scott and Joanna Cone, granddaughter and grandson in-law, Jaime and Chris Hill, grandson and granddaughter in-law, Patrick and Heather Sharp, grandson Christopher Sharp, granddaughter Lauren Sharp and honorary daughter-in-law, Vicki Sharp. He is also survived by four great grandchildren, Courtney Cone, Layla Cone, Brayden Sharp and Jason Cone as well as two step great grandchildren, CJ Hill and Kristin Hill. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at 4 p.m. at Floral Hills Memory Gardens on Lawrenceville Highway in Tucker, Georgia.
