Audrey Christine Raffa

Audrey Christine Raffa, 93, of Decatur passed away on Wednesday May 14, 2014. A native of Belleville, Ontario she graduated as a Registered Nurse from Toronto General Hospital and also graduated from Toccoa Falls Bible College in 1948. She served as a missionary 1948 to 1949 in Chattanooga, TN and nursed at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York City from 1949 to 1953. She married Lt. Col Joseph T. Raffa in 1950 who passed away in 2013. She is survived by her three daughters, Rosalind, Lydia and Cynthia; seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Her funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday May 20th in the chapel of A.S. Turner and Sons, with interment to follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at A. S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home and Crematory.
