B. E. Rainey

B. E. Rainey, 93, of Clarkston passed away Friday, April 10, 2015. Born May 2, 1921, in Lawrenceville, he was the son of the late Elmer and Carrie Sullivan Rainey and husband to the late Catherine King Rainey. B.E. served his country in the Army Air Force and owned his own business, Rainey's Service Station and Garage.

He is survived by three sons, Barry, Garry, and Dwight and his wife, Jan; daughter, Denise Rainey-Orr and her husband, Lee, of Panama City Beach, FL; sister, Snowdell Morris; grandchildren, Christi Miller and Shawn Thomas Lyde; and great-grandson, Colten Rainey Miller. In addition to his parents and wife, B.E. was preceded in death by his four brothers.

Services will be held Sunday, April 12, at 1:00 pm at A. S. Turner and Sons. Interment with military honors will follow at Melwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday, April 11 from 4:00 - 6:00 pm at A. S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home.
