It is with great sadness that the family of Bama Suzanne Marsh announces her departure into Heaven on Sunday, August 20th after a very short, but hard fought battle with cancer. Known as Suzanne by family and friends but Mimi to her beloved granddaughter Isabelle, her life was one of gracious beauty, creativity and compassion. She was a person loved and admired by all who knew her. Suzanne had just turned 71 in June and was a native of Atlanta.
Suzanne had the opportunity to touch many lives through her very unique career journey. She was a property manager, a nurse, a decorator, an administrator, a corporate trainer, and a saleswoman working at large corporations for many years like Nortel Networks and Verizon Wireless. Her most treasured work, however, was done most recently at Lenbrook Retirement Community in Atlanta where she became an integral member of the enrichment team. She loved the residents and employees there so much and loved the opportunity to work with such special people.
Suzanne will be forever cherished and remembered by her two daughters, Gina Suzanne Daniel-Lee and Heather Lea Daniel, her son-in law Trevor Thomas Lee, and her most beloved granddaughter, Isabelle Catherine Lee.
Suzanne’s life will be celebrated on Thursday, August 24th with visitation services at AS Turner & Sons in Decatur from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. A memorial service honoring her will also be held on Friday, August 25th at Living Grace Lutheran Church in Tucker at 11:00 AM.
Memorial donations may be made in Suzanne’s name to Hospice Atlanta, 1244 Park Vista Dr. NE Atlanta, Ga. 30319
