She completed Seward High in Seward, Nebraska and attended the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. She met her husband, Norman Paschall in 1945 during World War II at Lincoln Air Force Base and they were married one year later. Bobbie was active for many years at Peachtree Road United Methodist with the Friendship Class and teaching children's Sunday school. She belonged to the Garden Club and was proud of the award winning roses she grew. During the three years in Newnan Bobbie was superintendent of the Sunday School and founded a Girl Scout troop. Her hobbies were reading and needlepoint and she enjoyed all sports. She loved Ormond Beach, Florida and spent a lot of time there. Bobbie always considered her family first, never met a stranger, was direct and honest, had a sense of humor and was proud to be from the Midwest. Bobbie was a beautiful, loving, caring and kind lady who made a difference in many lives and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Van Gundy and leaves behind her husband, Norman, son Mike, daughter, Patti Carroll (Mike), and a niece, three great nieces, a nephew, two great nephews, and one great-great nephew.
