Barbara Thrasher Woods

Barbara Thrasher Woods, age 72, of Atlanta died Sunday, January 9, 2005 at the home of her daughter, Susan Kozak in Queen Creek, AZ. She was a native of Atlanta and a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Business Women's Sorority. Mrs. Woods was employed for 37 years and retired from Del Mar Cabinets (currently Armstrong Cabinets). Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Susan and William Kozak of Queen Creek, AZ; son, Steven E. Heist of Belle Glade, FL; step father, Chester L. Moody of Scottdale, GA; five grandchildren, Christopher T. Heist of South Dakota, Kayla Stundtner of Mesa, AZ, Matthew Stundtner of Edgewater, FL, Jesse Trautman of Austell, GA, and Lori Anne Heist of Duluth, GA; and a host of friends and relatives. Mrs. Woods was also the proud great grandmother of twin baby girls, Sterling Elizabeth Stundtner and Kimber Olivia Orion Stundtner, both of Edgewood, FL. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, February 10th in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. A. S. Turner & Sons
