The lovely Bernadette Constance passed away unexpectedly early morning on July 5, 2017 at DeKalb Medical Center. Bernadette was loved by many and will be forgotten by none. Her carefree spirit was inviting, her style was fierce, her laughter was contagious and her smile is something we will never forget. Bernadette had a wonderful education and her dedication to learning is something we all are very proud of. After graduating high school, she obtained two Bachelors degree’s. Bernadette obtained her Bachelors of English at The College of New Jersey formally known as TSC and her Bachelors of Art History from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). Currently she was enrolled to achieve her masters at SCAD. Bernadette also spent a brief time studying at Marymount Manhattan College in NY. One of her greatest accomplishments was a vintage clothing store she owned and operated in New Hope, PA. It was called “Panda Eyes.” She dedicated her life to this store and it paid off when she won the award for Best Store of Philadelphia in 2002. After the store closed she moved back to Georgia a place she never forgot. She worked at the High Museum and the Gone with the Wind museum in Atlanta. She also wrote for local magazines and did some editing for a few online websites. As well as some TV appearances. Her expertise in writing and editing gained her much attention in Atlanta. She spent many days frequenting local clubs, concerts and events. She also was a vegetarian/vegan and loved dining at local restaurants that shared these same interests. In Atlanta, she met the love of her life Mikey Smith and they recently purchased their first home together. She was living out all her dreams and was extremely happy.
