Bert R. Ives, Jr.

Mr. Bert R. Ives of Stone Mountain died Wednesday, February 2, 2005.  Mr. Ives served in the U.S. Navy during World War II as an aviation electrician?s mate third class.  He retired from Georgia State University in July of 1990 as an accountant in the business office.  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Esther Rush Ives.  Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 5, 2005 at St. Barnabas Anglican Church, 4795 N. Peachtree Rd., Dunwoody, GA  30338. The Reverend William R. Weston and the Reverend Robert E. Burgreen will officiate. Interment Eternal Hills Memory Gardens.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the St. Barnabas Building Fund.  The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the church and from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at A. S. Turner & Sons, 2773 N. Decatur Rd., Decatur, GA  30033.
