Beryl Kulikowski

November 14, 1928 — July 25, 2024

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Beryl Charles Kulikowski. Beryl was born November 14, 1928 in Fish's Eddy, New York. She grew up in Hancock, New York attending Hancock Central High School where she was head cheerleader and class president. She graduated from Binghampton City Hospital Nursing School in 1950 as a Registered Nurse. She married Benjamin Kulikowski in 1957 and their two daughters, Brenda and Beth, were born in 1960 and 1963.

Beryl started working at Fairfax Nursing Center in Fairfax, Virginia in 1974 and retired in 1994 as the Assistant Director of Nursing. She continued to remember her years at FNC fondly and cherished many of the friends she made during that time.

Beryl and Ben retired in 1994 and settled back on the family farm in Preston Park, Pennsylvania. Ben passed away unexpectedly in 1997 and Beryl continued to spend summers in Pennsylvania and winters in Mount Dora, Florida. In 2019 she moved to Atlanta, Georgia to be closer to family and resided at the Benton House of Decatur.

Beryl was a strong woman and fiercely independent. While Beryl was a devout Catholic and seldom missed Sunday mass, she passionately believed in a woman's right to have access to safe healthcare.

Beryl is survived by her daughters, Brenda Hall (Doug) of Stone Mountain, Georgia and Beth Turk (Milan) of Hendersonville, North Carolina. She is also survived by grandchildren, Matthew Turk (McKenzie), Adam Hall (Christina Long), Madeleine Turk (Justin Zylberman), and Drew Hall.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Donations in her memory may be made to Shepherd Center, 2020 Peachtree Road NW, Atlanta, GA 30309
