Bessie Young Pittman

Bessie Young Pittman, 70, of Nicholson, died February 9, 2012. A homemaker and devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Mrs. Pittman will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Thomas M. Pittman; daughters and sons-in-law, Deborah and Rick Krieger, Diane and Gene Komisarow and Denise and Kelly Howard; son and daughter-in-law, Lamar and Vickie Pittman; sisters, Peggy Smith and Dorothy Post; sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Buddy Bagwell; brothers and sisters-in-law, Henry and Martha Young and Warren and Janell Young; ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren. The funeral service will be 2 pm, Sunday, February 12, 2012, in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons, with Rev. Richard Wilkins officiating. Interment, Crest Lawn Memorial Park with her grandsons serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends 1-3 and 5-7 Saturday at A. S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory.
